Kanye West Ruins Interrupts Taylor Swift's Big Moment At MTV VMAs
September 14,2009 - Taylor Swift was relishing her unlikely win of best female video at the MTV Video Music Awards. The 19-year-old knew that the network doesn't exactly make a habit out of giving their moonman trophies to country music stars.

"I was standing on the stage and I was really excited because I had just won the award," Swift said after Sunday's show at Radio City Music Hall. "And then I was really excited because Kanye West was on the stage. And then I wasn't so excited anymore after that." Taking the microphone, the rapper protested Swift's selection and announced that Beyonce, also nominated, should have won because her "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on it)" was "one of the best videos of all time." As he had numerous times before, West made sure an awards show spotlight shone on him.

A stunned Swift staggered and didn't get to finish her acceptance speech. The crowd booed West, who shortly after was asked to leave the show and left the building.

Ellen DeGeneres Is New 'American Idol' Judge
September 11,2009 - American Idol has found a replacement for Paula Abdul - beloved funnywoman Ellen DeGeneres.

In a shock move, TV bosses have chosen the popular talk show host and former sitcom star to take Abdul's spot as the fourth judge on the hit talent show, which is currently in its ninth season.

Abdul departed the show in August after sitting on the panel since the show launched in 2002. A string of performers, including Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry and Mary J. Blige, have all made guest judge appearances during this year's audition process.

However, it is DeGeneres who will sit behind the desk permanently - and the star insists she will bring a "people's point of view" to the judging process.

Announcing the news at a taping for her daily talk show on Wednesday, DeGeneres said, "I've been dying to tell everyone. It's just been so hard to keep it a secret and we just finally got the okay and I'm so excited. It is going to be so much fun."

"I have not missed one episode. Hopefully I'm the people's point of view because I'm just like you. I sit at home and I watch it. I'm not looking at it in a critical way from the producer's mind. I'm looking at it as a person who is going to buy the music and is going to relate to that person."

A statement from Fox, the network behind the show, says, "Ellen has been a fan of the show for many years, and her love of music and understanding of the American public will bring a unique human touch to our judging panel."

Halle Berry Is Pregnant Again!
September 2,2009 - Halle Berry is pregnant with her second child. The Oscar winner gave birth to baby daughter Nahla in 2008 and now she's expecting boyfriend Gabriel Aubry's second kid, according to Life & Style magazine. The actress, who turned 43 on August 14th, is three months pregnant.

A source tells the publication, "Halle is overjoyed. The first time, she struggled so much to get pregnant and eventually conceived through in vitro fertilization. This time, the baby was conceived through artificial insemination."

"She's just ecstatic to be pregnant again. She wasn't sure if she'd have another baby, so she's very happy."

Berry's publicist has yet to respond to the story.
